I am the Dental Receptionist at Trenton Smiles. “You only get one chance to make a first impression: and your first impression is in the hands of the person who answers your phone call”. This has been my motto since I’ve been in this position. I really enjoy meeting new people, especially at work where I promise to give our clients dignity and respect, which is part of our office mission. My hobbies include singing in a church choir, keeping fit power walking, and enjoying nature at the cottage with my husband.

Mary Ellen – Dental Assistant
I am a level 2 dental assistant for the last 6 years. I started in dental later in my life when I decide after 11 years at Tim Hortons that I needed a change in my life. So I looked at different careers and dental was the one that jumped out at me so at 31 I decided to go back to school and start a new career and there hasn’t been a day that I regretted my decision. I am very passionate about my job and the care we provide to our patients, when you come into our office, my personal goal is to help you have comfortable, enjoyable appointment. I hope that during your visits we get to know each other a bit better. I am a proud Mother of a beautiful 2 year old little girl who you will probably hear me talk about when you come in for a visit. She is my world and I talk about her all the time. I think of my patients as friends and family so I enjoy sharing stories of my family and hearing stories of you and your family’s. I look forward to meeting you and your family and helping you with all your dental needs.
Tera – Dental Assistant
I have grown up in Trenton since I was 5 years old and have been working in the dental field for more than 20 years now. I enjoy getting to know all our patients and making sure they feel as comfortable as possible in an environment that a lot truly fear. I always take the time to explain the procedures being performed and any recommended treatment so patients can make an informed decision knowing the pros and cons. You will see me in many areas of the dental office. Whether it be chair side assisting the dentist or at the front desk. I have a busy home life with twin teenage boys who have my husband and I running them to the arena in the winter and the baseball diamonds in the summer. I will always be their #1 fan and i love being in the stands cheering them on. We try to travel a few times a year and we also enjoy hitting the trails on our side by side in the warmer months. We are proud bulldog parents to our 8 yr old French bulldog Hanklin and our 5 yr old English bulldog Charlie. I look forward to seeing you at Trenton Smiles where providing you with the best oral health is our promise.
Sylvie — Dental Hygienist
I have been in the dental industry since 1982, and is still enthusiastic about my career. My focus is on the needs of others. I have “My heart in the right place”! Throughout the years, I followed my military husband in various locations, which allowed me to work both in Canada and the United States and bring a wealth of experience to patient care. My goal is to help everyone find success in oral health. I have two grown sons who, like their father, chose to become engineers. I love to cook, socialize and organize neighborhood street barbecues.
Jennifer – Dental Hygienist
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been working in the dental field for over 10 years. I graduated from Georgian College in 2014 with an Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene and moved back to my hometown of Belleville, ON. My goal as a Dentist Hygienist is to make my patients feel heard, comfortable and confident in their smile. When I am not in the office, I am making sure my husband’s “honey to do list” is always full and chasing around our younger daughter.
